Drove down to Carcassonne from Sarlat (about 3 1/2 hours) in style in the Tesla that is just a dream machine. Christophe was a wonderful driver, and despite me leaving my cell phone at the hotel in Sarlat and having to go back 15 miles to get it, seemed to enjoy the Emlet-Reed banter in the car.
The drive down saved us several hours on the train and waiting for train transfers so we were really appreciative of his helping us out. Plus, Jerry and Dave were totally enamoured with the Tesla!
Arrived in Carcassonne around 3:00 and spent the day in the walled city. We have LOTS of photos and will share them tomorrow. The time changed last night here so we are an hour behind again. Going to bed soon after a fun day. Thanks for following. A bientot!
